Walls Without Holes

Privacy policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026.

Who we are

The controller (the “business” under California law) is the site publisher identified in the legal notice. For any question about your data, write to contact [at] walls-without-holes [dot] com.

This site has no accounts, forms, comments or online sales, and it collects very little data, listed below. It is aimed at a general audience in the US and Europe.

What we collect, why, and on what basis

In the past 12 months, in California terms, this means identifiers (email address, IP address) and internet activity (connection logs) collected directly from you or your browser, for the business purposes above. We do not collect sensitive personal information.

Audience measurement

This site does not use any audience measurement tool.

Cookies and local storage

This site does not set any cookies.

If you choose a theme (light or dark), your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so it applies on your next visits. It stays on your device, is never sent to us or anyone else, and is strictly necessary for the feature you asked for, so no consent is required. You can delete it at any time by clearing the site’s data in your browser. Your language is never saved: it depends only on the domain name of the site you visit.

Who we share data with, and transfers

We do not sell your personal information, we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising (as those terms are defined by the California CCPA/CPRA), and we do not use it for advertising. It is accessible to us and to our host, Cloudflare, Inc., which acts on our behalf as a service provider (processor).

Cloudflare is based in the United States and our data is processed in France and the EU by us, so data may be transferred between the EU/UK and the United States. Such transfers rely on the safeguards Cloudflare puts in place, such as standard contractual clauses.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We do not track you across websites and we do not sell or share your data, so there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We treat such a signal as a valid opt-out request anyway.

Your rights in the EU, EEA and UK

Under the GDPR (and the UK GDPR) you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and, where it applies, to receive it in a portable format. To exercise these rights, email contact [at] walls-without-holes [dot] com. We may ask for proof of identity if we have reasonable doubts, and we answer within one month.

You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in France, the CNIL, or the authority of the country where you live or work.

Your rights in California and other US states

We are a small, non-commercial site and may be below the thresholds at which the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) applies. We nevertheless offer the same rights to everyone, including residents of California and of other US states with privacy laws: to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it deleted or corrected, to opt out of its sale or sharing (which we do not do), and not to be discriminated against for using these rights.

To make a request, email contact [at] walls-without-holes [dot] com. We will verify your identity by checking that the request comes from the address we hold, and an authorized agent may act for you with your written permission. We respond within 45 days, or within one month for EU requests. We do not offer financial incentives for personal information.

Children

The site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has written to us, email contact [at] walls-without-holes [dot] com and we will delete the message.
